Last walk in Eden tells the story of the artist’s excursion with her mother skirting the coast of the Río de la Plata towards the Samborombón Bay. The walk is playful and symbolic, ending the trip in the place where, years later, it would be the last place his mother walked the day before his death.
When my mother returned to the river that day-the last of her lifetime warped, giving rise to omens and symbols of what seemed insignificant details. Time became entangled and intertwined its beginning, its course, and its end. Had she returned to the room to say goodbye to herself? I will never know. But I am certain that he found his place in the world there; and for me, from that moment, the world became timeless.
